Tagging Is Unlawful In Ced-ovia

Rules are:
* Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
* People who are tagged need to write posts in their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
* At the end of your post, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.

Andrew, wonderful anus-like soul that he is, tagged me for a post that fits the rules above. Why not answer? Well, here goes my list:

1. I learned how to read at age 2.
2. My first sexual experience was at age 8.
3. Most of my friends are geniuses...and don't realize it.
4. Thinking women and poets make me horny. Jessica Care Moore, Suheir Hammad, and Toni Morrison, watch out!
5. I was a graffiti artist in my younger days and was often clowned for adding nature scenes to my work. Now, LRG and similar companies make millions from doing the same on their clothing/art.
6. My favorite song is Common's "THE LIGHT" (thanks to Bobby Caldwell's "OPEN YOUR EYES").
7. I'm shy.
8. My favorite food is Ethiopian--even though I can't remember how to pronounce my favorite dish whenever I walk into a restaurant.

I'm breaking the rules--no one will be tagged.

SHY!?!?!? Hmmm, maybe watchful...but it's more like a CAT's version of "shy" = stalking his prey! LOL! Which is why I love ya, Ced - I'm a Cat-Woman...Purrrrrrr (hear Eartha in the back ground?)

And thanx for not tagging me! LOL!

LOL...Cat-Woman, eh?

She stalks through the pride
Saunters feared and eyed
As the lions want her
And lionesses fear her
In the jungle where weak ones hide

You're welcome for leaving you alone on the tagging, but I want to see what Rich has done...

Ced,
Now you've done it.. no tags! ^^

"My first sexual experience was at 8" set me to remembering mine. We were little, in her basement, playing house or something similar and she says to me:
'I know what sex is, my parents let me watch HBO, do you want to have sex?'
"what do I do?" I asked.
'Well,' she says, 'you unzip your pants and lay on top of me...'
So I did.
She smiled and said to me: 'see, now we are having sex' :)

Have not thought about that in forEver!

Mine was a little less naive. Unfortunately, my pops thought that manhood begins at birth and that every boy should be trying to get some "cut" (Southerners, stand up!) as early as his wand works. Magazines left around the house made me curious, which led to my little research of all things sexual in books, encyclopedias, and quiet attention to other people's conversations. She was older, but she didn't know what she was doing. Let's just say that it was one of the worst moments of my life.

Luckily, I wasn't TOO traumatized.

I'm totally with you on the thinking women part.

At age 8 shit I need to go stroll south beach with you

It couldn't have been that bad, but I can't remember what was going through my head at 8

Thanks for doing the tag... I promise I won't do any more it was my first time I promise.

LOL! Don't worry, Andrew--I don't mind the intelligent "tags." Far too many people feature silly ones on blogs and websites like Myspace. This one turned out to be rather fun. Anytime you want to take a walk through Miami, let me know! That is, if we make it out alive! I hear that Miami has become a little crazy lately!

Man of the world ^^

I remember walking in on my mother in the bathroom onetime while she was completely naked and she gasped, crossing her arms over her chest, to... I don't know, I guess try and hide the most exposed aspect of her womanhood. It just seemed creepy and weird to me that she would act that way. What clicks in a person's head that takes them from breast feeding a baby, and that intimacy, to "oh my god, you're a five year old, I can't let you see me naked..!" Disturbing.

I know your situation was no blessing for you Ced, but coming from my childhood, I would have liked a little more openness about sex around my house. Don't get me wrong, there was a kid down the street who had looted about 20 years worth of his dad's Playboy collection, there was exposure, it just never came through real talk with family.

To this day I do things around my family, like never closing the door to the bathroom while I take care if business because even that sends a subtle message that there are no secrets in our house, nothing is awkward, nothing to be ashamed of, and privacy around family is just unnecessary. I hope it works out that my kid is better adapted than I was.

Intimacy & privacy is a wild topic, huh, Dave? It's funny that you keep doors open to encourage openness and I grew up with a mother who wasn't comfy w/ closed doors & often I wished for a closed door - I didn't want to 'see' all that...

But it's a tricky balance & who can really know what will affect a child.

I learned to read when I was 2, too, Darling. I can't remember ever NOT knowing how to read. Both of my children read very early, too. We are all huge book lovers in our house!!!

I loved this post--though I can't imagine that you're shy!

Bump the comments, I loved the Buckwheat photo.

Although, I can remember actually getting some when I was around 4 or 5. I actually stuck it in. I can still remember several scenes. One was at a home daycare and us kids a good 10 or so were supposed to be sleep on the cots, but not me, I was too busy being manish with some little girl, whilst the overseers were watching the stories. The second occurence that I recall was with a girl named Michelle King. Her grandma used to keep kids and she was definitely hot at an early age. Funny enough, I went to high school with her and one day that I skipped school to hang out with some chicks, she ended up being the only one to put out. I picked wrong that day. The third adolescent memory was more of an encounter. I remember the girls name was Tawanna. I was outside on some steps and a bunch of boys were crowded around Tawanna and I remember sticking the toe of my cowboy boots in her stuff. Talk about puss and boots, that was it, literally.

Dave, my parents were in two different places throughout my childhood. Pops thought that my mother's faith-based morality needed a "balance"--but his method was f'ed up. As for the openness, I wasn't breast-fed...nothing to lose.

Cap, I feel you. I don't like to uncover unless I'm making orgasms blossom in a lucky lady. My beach time is solitary time.

DC, I have to hold down my spot in the Hall of Freaks!

Shai--heeeeeeeeey! Who is Jessica again?

GG, I am! Shy doesn't mean afraid, though. I am just a little reserved until I feel a comfort zone with people (...or enough alcohol to knock out an elephant--another reason why I don't drink). I'm not surprised that you're a lifetime reader, too! It shows in your poetry!

MWB, yoooooooo stoooooooopid! I hope the broads don't recognize their names! LOL!
