Gotta love the subliminal (and not so subliminal) marketing in the video! As for Dame Dash, I'll never laugh at another man's downfall--especially since his "downfall" left him in a seven-figure range!
WAIT TILL YOU READ IT! Some great up-and-coming writers put their imaginations to the test and scored A+ results! I am just grateful to be part of the experience!
Ebonne, I appreciate the agreement! VH-1 Soul has a series called "Storytellers" that features nearly-complete album performances by popular artists. Jay-Z's episode was so nice that I had to record it twice! The lyricism in this CD has me stuck on it.
Highlight: "I KNOW"... and would you believe that I didn't like the song until I listened to the lyrics? At first notice, I thought it was a pop song for teen girls. Little did I realize that the song is about addiction's "love affair" with an abuser-- drug abuser, power junkie, etc. Cold as ice...lyrically, a monster!
