Mumia Podcasts

Hottnikkz recently asked me for suggestions on places to find Mumia abu Jamal's words in podcasts or internet radio spots. For anyone else who finds an interest, check this spot on Itunes to subscribe to a recurring feed of recordings. Stay cool in the heat, happy on your feet, and alert on your way through this life!

Why this brilliant mind is not required reading at every level of education is a tragic mystery.

Man, you called it! I've only been reading over his essays and articles since 1999, but Mumia's words and depth of research is an inspiration for a guy like me--just a simple cat who yearns to hear the hidden truths and "big picture" facts that uncover much of the falsehood in our world's history and politics. He has an uncanny way of adding historical perspective to things that I would overlook easily. How have you been, Dave?

Thanks Ced, for the shout out and the info, it is well appreciated.

You know, Ced, it's one day at a time. Joyous to behold, delicious to taste, love for all. Life has been good. Had some family over tonight that we hadn't seen for a couple years, came up from North Carolina. Going camping with them this weekend, sit around the fire, sing and philosophize. That's what it's all about if you ask me. Like our people before us, hand it down.

Hottnikz, any true-school hip hop culture child with a strong mind and a hand on the pulse of the people is a friend of mine. Welcome to my circle.

Dave, I couldn't agree more. It sounds as if you have a great weekend ahead, too.

BlogX, what's good?

DC, thanks for that. Remember: don't make the old men in the family show you how they did it back in the day. You might be stuck there an extra day! LOL!
